Objective: Develop and enhance the BiP Messenger app to provide a seamless and secure messaging experience, catering to a global user base.
Scope: Implement key features such as instant messaging, voice and video calls, multimedia sharing, and unique elements like message translation and disappearing messages.
Focus: Ensure a user-friendly interface and robust privacy features, including end-to-end encryption, to maintain user trust and satisfaction.
Outcome: Successfully delivered a versatile, multilingual messaging app that stands out in a competitive market.

The processes

#1 Research

I conducted user interviews to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and pain points. These interviews provided valuable qualitative data that informed the design process. Additionally, I employed card sorting exercises to understand how users naturally organize and prioritize features.

#2 Structure Creation

I focused on mapping the user journey to ensure a smooth and intuitive experience throughout the app. This involved outlining every step users would take, from signing up to engaging with the app's features, to identify and eliminate potential friction points.

I prioritized a human-centered design approach, ensuring the app was tailored to the needs and behaviors of its users. I focused on creating an interface that was not only visually appealing but also intuitive and easy to navigate.

I mapped out the user journey and developed wireframes to define the app’s layout and functionality. This process involved visualizing key interactions and organizing features to ensure a logical and intuitive user experience. The resulting wireframes provided a clear framework for the app's design, guiding the development of a seamless and efficient interface.
